Relentless About The Great Commission
In a world of self-absorption, we seek to bless our world with deeds of compassion mercy and grace.
By adopting a welcoming orientation towards secular people who don’t believe in Christianity, through the gospel we remove any sense of superiority toward those who don’t share our beliefs.
We respect and remember what it is like to seriously doubt Christianity.
We therefore expect not-yet-believers in almost every facet of life to have a struggle in shifting to the saving grace of God. Therefore we make every effort to engage and address their questions and concerns.
Through our evangelism ministry known as the FBInChrist agents we help train missioners sending them on streets and homes of people to effortlessly lead people to the saving Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ by helping people know how precious they are to Jesus (Isaiah 43:4), bringing healing to them from any pain through the laying of hands on them that are sick and speak healing to their bodies and getting them filled with the Holy Spirit right where the people are in the shortest time possible.
At amazing Grace Chapel, a holistic emphasis on ministry in both words and deed and a concern to the poor is vital in the finishing of the great commission. Jesus didn’t save us just with words, but mainly through his deeds…his work. The gospel demands that every recipient of God’s grace surrender the illusion of self-sufficiency. This removes all superiority toward the poor. It equips us to use our gifts and resources to love our neighbors not just in word, but through deeds of sacrificial love. From this example of Jesus Christ, that is why our ministry has established a caring hand that helps in demonstrating the love of God to those who desperately need it. As a ministry we do A SKILLING PROGRAM to pass on specialized skills to mothers, young girls and youth in the communities where God sends us to help them improve on their living standards. As they put their learnt skill to work they are able to raise an income. We further help them start small business enterprises, teach them how to manage them through financial literacy and management training workshops.
The ministry is committed to the planting of new churches as a strategy in fulfilling the great commission.
The vigorous, continual planting of new congregations is the single most crucial strategy for the numerical growth of the Body of Christ, the renewal of existing churches, and the overall impact of the church on the culture of our area. Nothing else—not crusades, outreach programs or para-church ministries—will have the consistent impact of dynamic, extensive church planting.
That is why we are trusting God for a Church mission base in every town to help network the gospel around the world.
As a ministry we also run a child sponsorship program to help educate a child in families that may not be able to sustain their children in school. This is done through giving scholastic incentives such as books shoes uniform and even school fees or tuition to help them stay and finish up school.
Through an amazing feeding program we help families that cannot afford to feed with at least two basic meals in a day through our Grace feeding program. This is all done to follow the model of our Lord Jesus Christ. He did not use it to only meet the physical needs of people that were around him but to also help them get to a commitment stage of ” come follow me, remain in me and I will make you fishers of men”
Our equipping people for cultural renewal through the integration of a new culture of faith and work is fundamental to us as a ministry in the accomplishing the great commission.
The gospel brings us a unique perspective on God, human nature, the material world, the direction of history, and the importance of community. All of these inevitably influence the way we work, whether in business, government, healthcare, service industries or the military. Therefore, we help Christians integrate their faith with their work in order to serve the common good of the whole city.
Through our Grace Mentorship and leadership academy we train people from all backgrounds and spheres of influence in helping them unlock the fountain of excellence in them, helping them to reach for that higher purpose in their life serving their generation with passion for the glory of God.
Acts 13:36 says after David had served Gods will and purpose in his generation he fell asleep. In the academy we emphasize that if one is to fulfill the great commission, his God given purpose in life is directly connected to the task.
In order to tap in the potential and talent of the young people, the ministry has established Charis music school. It is a music school with coaches offering free music dance and drama classes to the young people.
Delivering them from the dangerous wave of drug addiction and all sorts of promiscuity by helping them develop their God given talents. Through this gospel music events, art and drama are designed and carried out as outreach programs by the students of the school, giving them a sense of success accomplishment and adding value to the lives of others as they use their talent to minister to someone.
Others are finally developing music carriers out if this.
In a world of disconnection, Amazing Grace Chapel seeks to be a place of unusual devotion to one another.
A heavy emphasis on small groups and the necessity of deep community and accountability is very vital
